Sports Injuries

sportExercising is good for you, but sometimes you can injure yourself when you play sports or exercise. Accidents, poor training practices, or improper gear can cause them. Some people get hurt because they are not in shape. Not warming up or stretching enough can also lead to injuries.


Once the functional examination and biomechanical assessment have been completed the road to recovery begins. You may need to get an ultrasound or x-ray to correctly assess the extent of the injury. Your active rehabilitation program is designed to return you to your pre-injury level of competition as quickly as possible without fear of re-injury.  Additional recommendations will be provided on correcting technique, training effectively, and proper equipment purchases (shoes, braces, etc).
